Refund policy


Eligibility Requirements

To request a return or exchange for damaged items or items with missing parts, please review our policy carefully:


Not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Minor manufacturer defects including small scratches, paint chips, or dents
  • Items damaged due to buyer misuse or mishandling
  • Items not in original condition or packaging

If you're unsatisfied with your product, please email us and we'll review your request on a case-by-case basis.


Return & Exchange Process

Timeline:

  • You must notify us within 7 days of delivery to request an exchange
  • You must request an RMA number within 3 days of delivery to be eligible for a refund
  • No exceptions will be made after these deadlines
  • Once you receive your RMA number, you must ship the item back within 10 days


How to initiate a return:

  1. Email us at support@shopdiecasttalk.com within the time frame above
  2. We'll provide an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and return address
  3. Ship the item back in its original manufacturer packaging with all parts included


Fees & Costs

  • Restocking fee: 15% on all returns and exchanges (calculated on product price, excluding shipping)
  • Return shipping: Customer's responsibility
  • Original shipping costs: Non-refundable
  • Order cancellation fee: 10% of order total (cancellations not available once order has shipped)


Out-of-Stock Exchanges

If we don't have the requested replacement item in stock, we'll offer you three options:

  1. Wait for new stock to arrive
  2. Store credit for the full item amount
  3. Full refund for that item


Factory Defects

For items with legitimate factory defects:

  • The item must be in original condition
  • Upon inspection, if damage appears to be from buyer misuse and the item is no longer sellable, we'll reject the return and send it back
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs and the 15% handling fee


Undeliverable Packages

If your package is returned to us because you weren't available to sign for delivery (required for certain orders), the original shipping fee is non-refundable. Customer is responsible for reshipping fees. We're not responsible for packages lost or returned because you moved and didn't update your shipping address.

Pre-Order Policy

Important: Estimated arrival (ETA) dates for pre-orders are approximate and subject to change based on manufacturer and supplier schedules. If your order hasn't shipped by the ETA date, it means the items haven't been released yet. We ship all pre-orders as soon as products arrive from our suppliers. Pre-order cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee of the entire order. Please consider carefully before placing pre-orders.

Non-Refundable Items

Some promotional items may not be eligible for refunds. These items will be clearly marked as non-refundable in their product descriptions.
